Welcome aboard the USS Pioneer, the first production-run Insignia Class starship. Intended by Starfleet to supersede the aging fleet of Nebula and Galaxy class vessels as the Federation's primary means of research and exploration. Currently, Pioneer is one of only two vessels of the class, the other being the class prototype USS Insignia.

Under command of Captain Tristin Krn, the Pioneer and her crew face continual challenges as she embraces her mission to explore new worlds, seek out new civilizations, and defend the United Federation of Planets from it's enemies, and sometimes even from itself!
